Control Your Drive: Promo Winner Inspires FBS to Promote Risk Management
FBS has released Control Your Drive – a series of engaging interviews about the importance of risk management in trading. We invited our trader Andrew Heng, and experts from the fields of finance and psychology to discuss strategies for emotion and trading risk management.
Control Your Drive was inspired by Andrew’s success, as he won a brand new Mercedes-Benz in our birthday promo 2023. On his way to the top, Mr. Heng employed different risk management tactics – stop loss and take profit, proper position sizing, and other. Sharing his experience with FBS, Andrew mentioned risk management and control of emotions as the most essential elements in profitable trading.
Elaborating on this topic, we created a thought-provoking show where our winner Andrew and his passenger experts discuss trading risks, comparing them with dangers and threats when driving.
Our carpool show Control Your Drive consists of three episodes:
- In the first episode, Trading Psychology, Andrew talks to Rebekah Ockens, a business psychologist. Rebekah’s 6 years of experience have led her to conclude that emotions are a big part of trading that affects our decision making and the risks we take.
